partnering with/supporting HOPE, or starting a jobs ministry:
Half-Day Program: For Job Seekers:
All-Day Program: For Churches, Organizations and Volunteers interested in
partnering with/supporting HOPE, or starting a jobs ministry:
- 10:00 am – Arrive at Roswell UMC
- 10:00 am – Begin training sessions geared towards starting or
supporting a jobs ministry in your church. COST $12 - “Loving Your
Neighbor” book (a faith community’s response to the unemployment
crisis - www.lovingyourneighbor.com.) - 12:00 pm – Continue through “working lunch”; Cost $8.00
- 1:00 pm – Breakout workshops – Experience a variety of workshops that
are geared towards Job Seekers or those ministering to Job Seekers
(See www.rumcjobnetworking.com for examples.) - 5:45 pm – Dinner with Speaker – free but $3.00 donation is accepted
- 7:00 pm – Breakout Sessions
- 7:45 pm – Keynote Speaker
- 9:00 pm – Program concludes – return to Chattanooga

If you are interested in learning more about starting a Jobs Ministry in your
church or organization, HOPE suggests you take a "Field Trip" to the Roswell
United Methodist Church (RUMC ) in Roswell GA to participate in a day of
training, networking and energizing fellowship for Job Seekers and those
concerned about the issues facing the unemployed.
RUMC has hosted their Job Networking Ministry for 20 years and has over 300
volunteers supporting this ministry. They are willing to share what they have
learned with other churches as well as open their workshops and training to all
Job Seekers.
